Saskia Sills - Our sustainability ambassador
Joanna and Saskia share a joint focus on protecting our planet through their sustainability missions.
Cornish-born Saskia grew up with a love for the ocean and this led her to becoming one of the world’s leading female windsurfers – alongside her twin sister and older brother – as well as a sustainability champion!
She is hugely passionate about doing the right thing when it comes to sustainability and finding positive impact solutions to protect & preserve the planet. Her university dissertation was on the impact of single-use plastic in elite sailing and she has presented to the IOC in Lausanne as a proud ambassador of Big Plastic Pledge.

A 4 time youth world champion, British Sailing’s Saskia won her first international senior medal with silver at the 2019 World Championships. She recently converted to the new Olympic-class iQFoil and is on a carbon-negative mission to win Gold at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
With her lifelong experience of the oceans Saskia works hard to celebrate positive change & impact in sustainability across her sport as a member of iQFoil’s sustainability committee, amongst fellow athletes across all sports and beyond into wider society.
She is excited to be working with and representing Child’s Farm/Farmologie as an athlete with a real passion for looking after the planet.
