We’re exceptionally proud to share some of the exciting work that we’ve been completing with charities recently. Take a look below to find out more.
The Parallel Club
We are proud supporters and founding members of the Parallel Club, a giving club which raises money to support disabled athletes on their journeys through elite sport and beyond. Their performances and triumphs inspire and educate the nation, and we want to ensure they have all the support they need to achieve their goals.
The club includes a team of passionate individuals, trusts, foundations and companies who each donate £40,000 over a 4 year period, to support and promote the power of sport for disabled people.
It was a natural extension of our support for Riding for the Disabled, and of our ownership of Lottie, our gorgeous Dressage horse who is part owned and ridden by para-equestrian gold medallist Natasha Baker MBE.
Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA)
Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), are dedicated to improving the lives of 25,000 children and adults with disabilities through spending time with horses, at 500 groups all over the UK. Through fun activities like riding and carriage driving, their beneficiaries experience a wide range of benefits including improvements in physical and mental wellbeing, verbal and non-verbal communication, relationship building and confidence.
We are pleased to support the Take Part at Home materials produced by RDA to share with their beneficiaries and keep them active during COVID-19. Have a look at some of the fun material here.
Brain Tumour Charity
We are delighted to be working with The Brain Tumour Charity, as many of our team have witnessed the devastating effect of undetected brain tumours first hand. Statistics on brain tumours in the UK are frightening, with 10 children in the UK being diagnosed every week.
Working on raising awareness through the Brain Tumour Charity’s HeadSmart Campaign, we are using educative illustrations showing the early signs of brain tumour on the artwork on over 1 million sample boxes that we will be giving away of our award-winning baby & child toiletries range, with Emma’s Diary, NCT and others in 2019.
If we can save just one young life through educating a parent or caregiver to the early signs of brain tumours through our collective endeavours, we will be on the path to success.

Currently there is no hospice in Winchester meaning that patients with complex needs, who would benefit from a hospice admission, are either required to travel long distances to other facilities, or remain on acute hospital wards in Winchester. A new Winchester Hospice will transform palliative care for people living in and around Winchester and will be the hub for 24/7 specialist palliative care services. Childs Farm have donated funds towards the building of the Winchester Hospice, which will open to patients in Spring 2021.
