To be a truly halal product, there are certification schemes and manufacturing processes that need to be adhered to. While we don’t have this certification on our products, we can tell you which ingredients are ethanol based to support you with any information required. However, we can’t confirm that our full manufacturing practices adhere to the requirements in certifying as halal.
We have a list available of the different types of alcohol used within our products on the ingredients page on our website. Where ‘Alcohol’ is listed on a label, this is ethanol and so these products are not suitable as halal. The Cetearyl Alcohol and the Benzyl Alcohol we use are not traditional alcohol (ethanol) so they are suitable as halal.
